How many people do you have on your boat at a time? We can take up to eight people plus the skipper. Can I make a change in our route? As long as your skipper agrees with the change in your route, yes. I love to sail, but my spouse is not enthusiastic. Can you help me change this? Your skipper, Levent Kiriscioglu has very recently completed a circumnavigation with his wife alone. Therefore, he is well experienced in “couple sailing” and he will share with you all the tricks of sailing happily as a couple. Can we bring our baby on board? Yes, of course. You might even get a discount if the skipper’s baby is onboard :) I Where do we sail to? Our routes and itenaries change. Please see our tours and packages.
What is included in the price and what other charges are there? Our prices are inclusive skipper, fuel, transitlog, and marina fees for pick-up and drop off. Provisions and meals ashore for the crew and the skipper will be extra.
What is the weekly schedule? You are expected to be onboard on Saturday at 16:00 . Saturday afternoon consists of orientation, boat check-out and introduction to the boat systems. After going over the week’s schedule, the ones who are in charge, do the provisioning. Saturday evenings are spent at the marina. Accommodations on the boat are provided. Sunday morning, we prepare the boat and set sail. Late afternoon, we arrive at the place where we will be spending the night. In the morning, we wake up early and go for a beautiful walk/hike and do our daily exercises (This is of course optional, but everyone is welcomed to join the skipper) After coming back to the boat, having breakfast, you can either swim, sunbathe and relax or leave for another destination. Everyday we spend the night in a different bay. Friday afternoon is the time to come back to Marmaris (or which ever marina we will be ending our program). Saturday morning, the guests pack and get ready to leave. |Top| What is a typical day? We sail usually from late morning to late afternoon. Although depending on the weather, and the preference of the guests, a day may start or run differently. We will take a break for lunch, either anchoring or eating while under way. After we drop anchor, evenings are to relax, watch the sunset, swim or have a sundowner…
What will the weather be like? Summer weather is hot with warm nights. Winds start by noon and freshen in the afternoon. Usually winds are from the North following the coastline. June to October you must be prepared for hot days, with extra precautions for sun protection. Winter usually begins sometime in November bringing cooler temperatures. Also common are lows sweeping by bringing winds from the south. Frontal weather usually continues through March, gradually whimpering out in late March or April.
What is your cancellation policy? The deposit fee is non-refundable. What clothing and equipment do I need to bring? Please see “What to Bring”. We ask that you use soft luggage rather than hard suitcases, since it is easier to store in a boat. |Top| |
