После возвращения в Турцию он работал в многонациональных фирмах коммерческим и маркетинговым директором.
Во время его профессиональной деятельности, любовь к природе и увлечение природным спортом привело Левента к парусу. Уехав во Флориду он окончил по ASE все курсы до степени «мастера по яхтному делу». В Турции с «Gökova Yatçılık» с нуля он получил сертификат CYA. Затем в международной школе по обучение управления яхтами /International Yachtmaster Training (IYT) он получил степень «инструктор по управлению яхтами». Левент, настолько увлекся парусным спортом, решил не возвращаться к своей успешной профессиональной деятельности. Он предпочел море, его больше не интересовали совещания, и офисная жизнь. Теперь в жизни Левента начинался совсем иной период.
Как только у его супруги Айчи появилась мечта о кругосветном путешествии на судне Левент приобрел свое первое судно «Yol» /«Путь»/. Супруги которые хотели реализовать свою мечту не откладывая, вышли в море в октябре 2004 года из Мармариса на запад. В мае 2007 года они вновь возвратились в Мармарис, но теперь обогнув весь мир с востока.

После стольких лет жизни, прожитых с морем возвращение к жизни на суше не легко далось Левенту и Айче. После возвращения они продолжали жить на судне. Зима, которая проходила в бесподобно красивых заливах Гёковы была продуктивной… Их дочь Дерин присоединилась к ним в сентябре 2009 года.

Семья Киришчиоглу после рождения Дерин обосновалась в Мармарисе. Левент решил что он должен сделать что-то, чтобы другие тоже могли легко пройти через путь, пройденный им самим. Собрав воедино системы таких разных морских школ как ASA, CYA, IYT и опыт благополучного кругосветного путешествия, он засучил рукава, чтобы поделиться с другими своими знаниями, а так же начал давать консультации по различным вопросам в этой сфере.Levent Kiriscioglu was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his elementary and secondary studies in Istanbul. Later he was accepted to Boston University, where he received his B.Sc. Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. An MBA degree followed at Bentley College. After returning back to Turkey he worked as an executive for multinational companies in the field of Sales and Marketing.

During his professional life, his love for the nature found a gateway in sailing. He received his ASA certifications up to Yachtmaster from Florida, USA. Later he got to know Gokova Sailing with whom he started from scratch and received CYA certifications. On a 1100 millage trip to Egypt, Israel and Cyprus he finished his IYT Yachtmaster license (November 2001). In May 2002 he passed the Yachtmaster Coastal Instructor examination of the International Yachtmaster Training Center, Florida, U.S.A). After July 2002 he taught sailing and skippered flotilla charters.

During this time his love of the sea and sailing grew and led him to buy his first boat YOL. He and his wife agreed on setting sail to new frontiers. In October 2004, they left Turkey. They sailed around the world and finished their circumnavigation in May 2007. They are the youngest Turkish sailors who have done a circumnavigation on a sailboat.

After living on the sea for so long, it was not easy to get back to a life on land. Levent and his wife Ayca decided to spend the winter in the secluded bays of Gokova, South of Turkey. A fruitful winter brought about a new member on board. Their daughter, Derin joined the family in September 2009.

The Kiriscioglus live in Marmaris where they have set up their Learn to Sail and Skippered Charter business through which they can share their love and experience of the sea with others.
